Eech day from 9-9:15am, we will begin with an Opening on ZOOM.
In the parable of the Good Samaritan, we see the importance of helping others, especially those we may not know. We learn to care for those in our community, even when it doesn’t seem to be directly helpful to ourselves. What an appropriate lesson for Vacation Bible School this year. As a community, we are staying home, social distancing, and wearing masks to protect those around us.
What an act of love for one another! As a church, we are worshiping, socializing, and having meetings online while continuing to support the food pantry and other essential services as safely as possible. We have been innovating over and over ways to keep our community together. Now VBS is approaching, and thanks for a dedicated team with lots of creativity, it will look very different!
Each day, we will begin with an Opening on Zoom to greet the kids, talk about the story, and connect. The video will also be posted to the UIF Facebook page and YouTube channel, and followed by videos for a craft, a science experiment, a service project, and games. Children will enjoy the activities with special materials provided by UIF. We will even provide snack and lunch ideas for those families who want the full VBS experience!
lease spread the word and contact the church office by July 15 to register. (The early date allows the VBS volunteers time to pack and deliver supplies to participants’ homes.)
If you usually support our VBS ministry, and are able to continue supporting it this year, please do so! The expenses will be different this year with a virtual program, but we still need your support.
Recommended for ages 3 - 10.
$5 per child donation for supplies (scholarships available - just ask on the registration form).
