Farewell And God Speed

Harold and Dian, as you leave your house for your new home, we wish to send you with God's blessing.

A reading from Jeremiah: For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Let us pray.
Gracious God, we give thanks for Harold and Dian. You have called us together in community, and now we prepare to say God speed. As they have been a blessing to us, so too may they be a blessing to others wherever they go. Sustain them with hope, courage, and trust that your holy spirit will always be with them, through Jesus Christ. Amen.
