Worship Services at United In Faith

All are welcome to join in Sunday worship!

We celebrate Holy Communion at all services, and everyone who walks through our doors is welcome to participate in Holy Communion.

Regular Schedule

8:30 a.m.    Traditional Worship Service

At this service, you will find traditional Lutheran worship with many old favorite hymns, and a few new ones as well. Worship at this service is usually accompanied by the organ and/or the piano.

9:30 a.m.    Sunday School for children age 3 to those in 5th grade

The curriculum is "One Room Sunday School" from Cokesbury and meets from September to May.

10:30 a.m.    Praise and Worship Service

You will celebrate the Good News using comtemporary hymns and liturgy at this service. Accompaniment at this service is usually by guitar, piano, and drums.

11:30 a.m.    God's Goldfish

God's Goldfish (Teen Group) meets from September to May on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.

5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays    Confirmation

Confirmation meets from September to May.

5th Sunday of the Month AND February 26, 2012

Every month that there are five Sundays, the 5th Sunday will have only one service at 9:30 a.m.  The type of service will alternate between a praise & worship service and a traditional service -  January 30, 2011, May 29, 2011, July 31, 2011 and October 30, 2011.

Adult Talk

On Sunday mornings, join others to work through an adult discussion  called "No Experience Necessary. " This group meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m to 10:15 a.m. in the Resource Room from late September through May.

Worship Themes for Epiphany

The Sunday worships in Epiphany, up to Ash Wednesday, centers around the theme of being God's light in the world. (UiF is God's hands, feet and voice in the world). Questions for people to consider? How does God's light shine through me? Through Uif? My actions, thoughts, words, deeds? How am I God's hands feet and voice in the world?
