Our Service and Mission Ministry is just what
it implies. It serves the congregation by supporting its vision and
core values and highlights mission opportunites, both local and
global. This most vital ministry exists to serve all who walk through
our doors, who live in our neighborhood, who live within our
metropolitian boundaries and beyond. Support of St. Cyprians Food
Pantry, our Family Crisis Fund and highlighting local and worldwide
mission needs are just a few of their mission critical endeavors.
Some other organizations we have assisted this past year are LSSI of
Illinois, The Night Ministry, and the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
If you are service minded, smile at the opportunity to open your
heart to those in need or are of a compassionate disposition, then
the Service and Mission Ministry invites you to participate in
serving others. The Service and Mission Ministry is the "village"
that it takes to keep a congregation alive and vital.
