Winter Selection

Discussion on Wednesdays, beginning January 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM, and on Sundays inbetween services at 9:30 AM ~ “Signs of Belonging - Luther's Marks of the Church and the Christian Life” by Mary E. Hinkle.  If you desire to be thoughtful in your faith life, then this a book to read.   There will be approximately eight sessions.  The Book will be available in the church office.

Past selections have prompted faith based conversations about a variety of topics and issues in the world.  Some of the selections include:

The five Sundays following the Lenten services (March 4, 11, 18, 25 & April 1, 2012), each of the prayer topics covered during the Lenten services will be discussed inbetween the worship services: what is prayer; The Jesus Prayer; The Centering Prayer; Lectio Divina; and The Daily Text.
